Stitched mosaic composed of 30 images (3 rows x 10). Sunny late afternoon in September 2004, with an effective resolution of 56 Megapixels. This gasometer is located on Great Western Way, near the Bruce Street Bridges in Swindon. In the last light of the sunny afternoon it begins to take on a glow and a rather magnificent presence.

At this super resolution the level of detail and texture revealed in the full size print adds a whole new level of connection to what is other wise ignored by most people as an 'eye sore' at best. It is surprisingly rich in color, texture and form, with a sculptural aspect that deserves attention.
